In the last 10 years, the number of people owning assets worth over 30 million dollars has grown rapidly, a trend that will continue over the next few years. This is precisely why the LuxPro event in Zurich put its finger on the
pulse.
Although there are a whole series of EU regulations, Switzerland, and in particular Zurich, is still seen as one of the major financial centres. So LuxPro held its first event in Zurich. Monaco and London will follow.
At LuxPro in Zurich, renowned companies such as PwC, London Property Investments, Andermatt Swiss Alps etc. gathered to discuss the topic of HNWIs and UHNWIs.

Alexander Johnson, the youngest CEO on the London Stock Exchange, led the attendees through the programme. Today he is an investor in and founder of over 30 companies in various sectors, holds courses at Oxford University and coaches VIPs, business leaders, heads of state, professional sportspeople, stars and people in the film industry.
It was not only the presenter who was high-calibre. The speakers were also famous people from the business world and HNWIs and UHNWIs. Dr. Marcel Widrig, PwC’s partner in Switzerland, got the ball rolling. He presented the subject of „Billionaires‘ insights“ with exciting analyses and trends for billionaires.
This was followed by such exciting topics as high net worth immigration to the UK, Monaco and Cyprus. The subjects important to HNWIs and UHNWIs, family office, investment opportunities and training were presented and discussed. They showed which luxury toys were currently in fashion for the ultra-rich.
Between the lectures there were many opportunities for face to face conversations. Since it was not only the speakers who were high-calibre but also the guests, I have heard that some of the guests made first-class new contacts, which was indeed the organisers‘ intention.
